In this brief lecture/demonstration, Eleanor will talk about the value of going back to the basics, learning -- for the first time -- or revisiting traditional calligraphy as a jumping-off point for a love affair with letters that can transform our lives.  She will demonstrate a few of the historical scripts that comprise more than 2000 years of calligraphic history, offering us endless pleasure and challenges as students and artist
