Workshop Description
A beautiful quote alone doesn’t make a finished work of art. In this workshop, we’ll learn how to develop a balanced, strong layout from individual words and sentences.

Instead of simply jotting down text, we’ll give the idea the right framework. We’ll focus on the key building blocks of visual design, including:

Format & Proportions: Finding the right frame

Font Size & Spacing: Guiding the eye intentionally

Negative Space & Balance: Letting there be room to breathe
-
Ornamentation: Setting the right accents
-
Combine these elements into a harmonious whole.

Primarily use Blackletter as our design foundation.

This is a live online workshop conducted via Zoom. Please ensure you have a Zoom account to access the live lesson.

Students will be granted access to the workshop boarding page within 24 hours of registration.

All live lessons will be recorded and made available for 90 days following the final lesson.
