In this two-lessons student will bring botanical blooms to life through layers of coloured pencils that create luminous effects. Designs will be balanced with delicate pointed pen flourishes and optional gold leaf to add a delicate breeze and airiness to your designs. Students will learn how to achieve visual balance between the grace of offhand flourishes and the colourful blooms. There is something for all skill levels in this workshop as student work toward creating these brilliant floral flourishes. Drawing will be demonstrated but floral guides will be provided in the handouts. The techniques explored in this intriguing workshop will bring your flourished coloured pencil designs to a whole new level.
